House Approves National Landscape Conservation System Act

On Wednesday, April 9th, the National Landscape Conservation Act was approved by the House of Representatives. The legislation will provide permanent protection for the National Landscape Conservation's collection of wilderness areas, wild and scenic rivers, and archaeological treasure troves. [read more]

Permanence Bill Goes to Floor Wednesday

Permanence bill, H.R. 2016, has passed committee, and is scheduled to move to the floor on Wednesday, April 9th. The National Landscape Conservation System Act, H.R. 2016, would provide much-needed recognition for the Conservation System, and ensure that it won't be administratively unraveled. [read more]

Wilderness Society Releases New Video
